10-Day Desert Tour

In the morning Drive for 2h to Arg-e Bam or Bam Citadel (UNESCO) then hit the road toward the Lut desert, we take a look at abandoned water cisterns and mills. The tour guide will explain the culture evolved due to the absence of water and how people solved this problem. Arriving at Shahdad (kaloot), take your time to feel the great silence in the desert. After breakfast drive toward Yazd. Take a detour to visit Saryazd Castle. Dated back to the 7^th century is the oldest and largest depository. Then keep driving to Yazd.
Welcome to the historic city of Yazd (UNESCO HERITAGE) famous for its adobe houses, wind catchers and also Qanats. Zarch Qanat (UNESCO HERITAGE) spread over the Yazd city still working since the pre-Islamic era. You’d be amazed to visit the Water Museum along with Amir Chakhmagh Square to taste some Bakhlava and local sweets. After lunch walk in the old quarter of Fahadan. Visit Alexandre prison and other local places. In the evening relax and enjoy watching the sunset over the adobe city and have dinner.

In the morning by visiting the Tower of Silence and Fire temple hear a preface of the Zoroastrian religion. Then visit Dolat Abad Garden (UNESCO) with the tallest wind catcher. Drive toward Isfahan. On the way, you will see the desert lifestyle in the Abbasi complex (ice house, Pigeon tower, caravanserai). Have lunch in the Caravanserai. Keep driving to Toodeshk village and rest in an ecolodge.

After breakfast drive for 2h to Isfahan. First, visit the Jameh Mosque (UNESCO) a splendid prototype of an Islamic Mosque. Then visit Chehel Sotun Palace (UNESCO) and walk in the Naqsh-e Jahan Square (UNESCO) and get amazed by visiting Ali Qapu Palace, Shah Mosque and Sheykh Lotfollah Mosque. End your day by walking in Qeysarie Bazaar. Rest in the hotel.

In the morning walk near the Zayande Rud river and walk on the old bridges like Si-o-se Pol and Khaju. Visit Monar Jonban meaning Shaking Minarets. Drive toward IKA for your departure.
